About BOOKINGS
The bookings.sk web site was established in 2003 as a
response to emerging electronic travel market in Slovakia by Pro Region Slovakia
s.r.o. which is active
in the
Slovak
travel
industry since
1996.
By early 2004 we expanded as a major provider for many accommodation partners
in the country. See our Partners for a reference. We
are based in Tatranska Lomnica, Vysoke Tatry with an outlet in Kosice.
Our service is free to our visitors
While hotels pay for advertisement, our visitors are offered convenient and
risk-free way to reserve an accommodation. By the contractual agreement the
hotels are required to offer our visitors the best reception rates. For details

Scope of our service
Service providers (hotels, car rental, guides)
We currently cooperate with
over 100 service providers all around Slovakia, even crossing the country borders
in
some regions
like
the
Tatry
Mountains, where we have partners from Poland. With localization efforts of
our reservation system, we are aim to penerate the markets of Czech Republic,
Poland and Hungary.
Load of requests
From 1.January 2004 up to 1. March 2004 we served our partners with 2500 reservation
requests, including organized groups of travellers. Of these 50 % are transformed
into successful stays.
Affiliate resellers
We currently have 29 active Affiliate resellers, learn
more about our unique distribution marketing and become an affiliate.
